ACQUISITION: Catalyst acquires 5.4 acre ISF in Philadelphia. New York-based Catalyst Investment Partners closed on 8800 State Road in Philadelphia, adding a new ISF to their growing portfolio. The site includes a 14,151 SF service facility on 5.4 total acres. The seller was Faropoint, and the deal was brokered by Mitch Russell from Newmark
ACQUISITION: Realterm acquires 32-door truck terminal in NY. Realterm purchased 80 W. Nyack Road in Nanuet, NY on December 22. The terminal sits on 5 acres and offers convenient access to I-287. “The property will enable transportation groups to service both the broader New York/New Jersey region and the surrounding dense consumer population from a central and accessible location.” -Ed Brickley, Realterm
LEASE SIGNED: Lee & Associates inks IOS lease in Denver. Matt Nora and Kirk Vanino with Lee & Associates Denver represented a local landlord in signing tenant BCOMM Constructors LLC to an IOS lease at 30 S Raritan Street in Denver, CO. POLITICS: Election year policy items that could impact IOS. The Biden administration may tackle three logistics-related policy items: 1) independent contractor versus employee status for truckers; 2) carbon emissions from heavy trucks; 3) various infrastructure bills that will contain earmarks for truck parking.
