NEWS ROUNDUP
ACQUISITION: Alterra buys 1.74 IOS in Seattle area. Alterra IOS has acquired 7807 44th Avenue West in Mukilteo, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. The property includes a 9,155 SF industrial building with 4 grade-level drive-in doors and 1 dock door. The Alterra team included VP Parker Pearson. The deal was marketed by Cushman & Wakefield. Kidder Matthews represented Alterra and will market the property for lease.
ACQUISITION: Stonemont sells 5 acre Chicagoland IOS. Stonemont Financial Group has sold 131 Anton Drive in Romeoville, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. The 5.02 acre yard includes parking stalls for 131 tractor-trailers. The Stonemont team included Scott Benedetto and Ryan Meehan. Kelly Disser, Bill Byrne, and Michael Freitag of NAI Hiffman represented Stonemont in the deal.
ACQUISITION: East Coast Properties buys 4.22 acre IOS in Miami for $9.6M. East Coast has purchased 13951 Northwest 109th Avenue in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, part of Miami metro. The property sold for $9.6 million, or $52 per SF. The East Coast deal team included Miguelangel Salazar-Pesce and Azael Reyes. Gabriel Garcia Menocal, David Oxios, and Lucia Custer of NAI Capital and Enrique Jordan of Central Commercial RE assisted in the deal.
LEASE SIGNED: JLL brokers lease of 4 IOS properties in DC metro area. The Metro DC Industrial Team of JLL represented Open Industrial in the leasing of 25173 Arcola Mills Road in Sterling, Virginia; 9155 Mike Garcia Drive in Manassas, Virginia; and 14610 Old Gunpowder Road in Laurel, Maryland. The team also represented Prologis in the leasing of 9405 Livingston Road in Fort Washington, Maryland. The JLL team included John Dettleff, Sam Haas, Dan Coats, Abbot Wallenborn, and Geoffrey Thomas.
TRUCK PARKING: Discount Truck Parking to expand Orlando sites. Discount Truck Parking plans to add 5 acres to 11699 Airport Drive in Orlando, Florida. This brings the site’s total size to 15 acres. The company is also adding 7 acres to 1825 Saturn Boulevard in Orlando, bringing its acreage to 17.
