BREAKING NEWS: Baltimore bridge collapses after massive container ship loses power and strikes the pylon. ACQUISITION: Pagewood and CenterSquare buy small-bay/ISF portfolio in Houston. A JV between Pagewood and CenterSquare purchased Gateway Industrial Commons, a 622,130 SF industrial portfolio consisting of 46 buildings located at 9 addresses across Northwest Houston. The seller, HRES Group, was represented by Stephen Ghedi, Jim Autenreith, and Tanner Thompson of Moody Rambin. Todd Briddell of CenterSquare and Paul Coonrod of Pagewood led the JV deal team. Northmarq’s Warren Hitchcock helped with financing via LifeCo Symetra Financial. Partners Real Estate will handle the leasing of the facilities.
LEASE SIGNED: Entre leases 9 acre IOS in Antioch, IL. Entre Commercial Realty has leased 22333-22275 Highway 173 in Antioch, Illinois. The 9 acre IOS includes 23,637 SF of indoor space with 16 drive-in doors and 6 docks. The tenant is a truck dealership. The Entre deal team included Cory Kay and Michael DeSerto. Cavan Realty represented the tenant.
NOW LEASING: CBRE tapped to lease 11 acre IOS in Memphis, TN. DryPort Capital chose CBRE to lease 5178 Citation Drive in Memphis, Tennessee. The 11 acre property consists of 220 tractor/trailer bays for lease and is fully-fenced. The IOS also includes a truckers’ lounge with showers and laundry facilities. CBRE’s Patrick Walton and Stephanie Allen are the leasing agents.
TRUCK PARKING: Freight Ninja opens 2 new Midwest locations. Freight Ninja has opened 743 131st Place in Hammond, Indiana, and 4730 Pleasant Run Road in Memphis, Tennessee. The Hammond location is fully-fenced, concrete-paved, with wide aisles, LED lighting and 48 electric plugs.
