NEWS ROUNDUP
ACQUISITION: Roebuck acquires 34 acre IOS in Yorkshire, UK. Roebuck’s Industrial Open Storage (IOS) vehicle has completed the acquisition of a property located near Junction 36 of the M1 motorway in Yorkshire (Tankersley). The site features 110,000 SF of indoor industrial space. The seller was Mercedes Benz/Daimler Trucks UK, and the tenant is CAM, a truck and trailer division of a major UK 3PL. The Roebuck deal team included Charlie Barnes, Hugh Macdonald-Brown, Charlie Seaton, and Mokam Sihra. Robert Whatmuff of Colliers brokered the deal.
ACQUISITION: Realterm buys another IOS in the Netherlands. Realterm has added to its Netherlands portfolio with the acquisition of Schutweg 1 in Waalwijk, which is near the Belgian border. The 2.67 acre IOS property features 7,535 SF of indoor space and is fully leased to Arriva, a public transportation company. The Realterm deal team included Balazs Lados, Jon Chalkley, and Piet van de Ven.
LEASE SIGNED: Transport Properties leases 4 acre IOS in Chicagoland. Transport Properties has leased 132 South Harris Drive in Rockdale, Illinois. The property includes a 21,885 SF warehouse with 12 drive-in doors. The facility has been used by trucking companies for more than 20 years, but the new tenant is a national equipment rental company. Tim McCahill led the Transport Properties deal team. Joshua Hearne and Reinier Pranger of Cawley CRE brokered the deal.
LEASE SIGNED: Colliers leases 2.64 acre IOS in Indianapolis, IN. A Colliers team led by Korey Ryan represented the landlord, Indy Property Groups, in the leasing of 4018 South High School Road in Indianapolis, Indiana. The property includes an 11,894 SF warehouse. The new tenant is Virk Trucking, Inc.
