NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: Alterra buys 5-property IOS portfolio in Colorado for $38.5M. Alterra IOS has acquired 5 IOS properties in Colorado in an all-cash transaction. The 5 properties include a total of 128,000 SF of fully leased warehouse space on 36 AC. 3 of the properties are located in the Denver metro area, while 2 are in Colorado Springs. The acquisitions were made through the firm’s IOS Venture III fund. The Alterra deal team included Parker Pearson.

DISPOSITION: CORE Commercial Real Estate sells IOS in Social Circle, GA. CORE Commercial Real Estate has facilitated the sale of 351 and 469 Ronthor Drive in Social Circle, Georgia. The 16.76 AC property features 124,120 SF of improvements plus 7 dedicated AC of IOS. Jeremy Dupree with CORE represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.

DISPOSITION: Avison Young sells 5.6 AC IOS in Charlotte, NC. Avison Young has facilitated the sale of 1118 West Craighead Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. The property features a 37,335 SF industrial facility. Gray Gaines, Henry Lobb, Abby Rights, and Christopher Skibinski led the Avison Young deal team.

LEASE SIGNED: SRS Industrial leases 8 AC IOS in Orlando, FL. SRS Industrial has facilitated the leasing of 335 Central Florida Parkway in Orlando, Florida. Katrina Kieu, Joseph Cooper, Wayne Schuchts, and Brad Gibbs with SRS Industrial represented the tenant in the transaction.

LEASE SIGNED: Cushman & Wakefield leases 1.52 AC of IOS in Newark, NJ. Cushman & Wakefield has facilitated the leasing of 1.52 AC of IOS at 148 Doremus Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. 3 AC, including a 2,400 SF maintenance building, remain available for lease at the site. Jeff Volpi with CushWake represented the landlord in the transaction.
PEOPLE MOVES: Realterm hires Vice President, Capital Markets, to lead Middle East expansion. Realterm has announced that Danae Daniilidis has joined the firm as Vice President, Capital Markets, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). Danae’s previous experience includes roles with BlackRock, Citi, and iCapital, where she served as Middle East Partner. In connection with the new role, Realterm will establish an office in the UAE.
