  2. Reviving CRE markets in the wake of big city rebound. “We have been bullish on industrial due to the resiliency of this asset class and the fact it doesn’t seem to be affected by demographic shifts in the overall population from urban core to suburban,” Steve Wyent of Alliant Credit Union.

  3. Key IOS strategies for supply chain execs. Good tips for logistics pros to navigate the search for IOS space. “If they can afford to locate the sites outside of the more competitive submarkets, they will save considerably.” 

  4. NAHB housing index highest since June 2022. Buyer are still frisky, but builders continue to grapple with supply-side challenges, including ongoing scarcity of electrical transformer equipment and growing concerns about lot availability.

  5. Top 20 industrial rent growth markets. Philly leads the way in YoY industrial rent growth, while traditional industrial hotbeds (SoCal, Northern New Jersey) level off.

  6. Industrial vacancies will rise to 5%, says Cushman. Supply-demand of industrial space is shifting to the supply-heavy side of the equation. Cushman says vacancies will reach 5% in 2024.
