NEWS ROUNDUP
ACQUISITION: Doherty brokers the sale of 3 IOS properties in Midland, TX. The Doherty Houston Industrial Group at Marcus & Millichap has closed on the sale of 3 single-tenant IOS properties in Midland, Texas. Combined, the properties feature 27,245 SF of warehouse space on 9.25 acres. Each property is currently leased by a single tenant. The Doherty group is led by Patrick Doherty.
UPDATE: On March 6, we reported on the sale of a Baltimore area IOS at 820 Bletzer Road in Dundalk, Maryland. Catalyst Investment Partners, led by Connor Brophy, purchased the 5.29 acre property. We found out that Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, Fraley and Schilling, in the deal. The sale price was $2.6 million. The M&M deal team included Bryan Herr, Robert Filley, and Arvin Gholamrezae.
ACQUISITION: Swartz sells low-coverage industrial property in GA. Swartz Co. Commercial Real Estate has sold 8405 Tatum Road in Palmetto, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. This 2.93 acre low-coverage industrial property includes an 8,800 SF building with 2 drive-in doors and 1 dock-high door. The Swartz deal team was led by Jonah Siegel.
LEASES SIGNED: Colliers leases two IOS properties in Indianapolis, IN. Korey Ryan with Colliers repped the owners in leasing 4600 and 4610 Bluff Road in Indianapolis, Indiana. 4600 Bluff Road is a 2.66 acre IOS property with a 9,600 SF building. 4610 Bluff Road is a 6.80 acre property with a 17,885 SF building. The new tenant for both properties is United Rentals, and they signed up for 5+ year terms.
