NEWS ROUNDUP
Hayward, CA IOS site
ACQUISITION: Dalfen buys 5 IOS sites on the West Coast. Through a venture with Centerbridge Partners, Dalfen Industrial has acquired 847-877 Industrial Parkway and 23422 Clawiter Road in Hayward, California; 12371 Los Nietos Road in Santa Fe Springs, California; 214 21st Street S.E. in Auburn, Washington; and 8328 South Tacoma Way in Lakewood, Washington. The Dalfen team includes Rich Weiss and Mike Cohen.
ACQUISITION: Triten buys 6 acre low-coverage facility in Atlanta, GA. Triten Real Estate Partners has purchased 11750 Veterans Memorial Hwy in Douglasville, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. The site includes a 40,000 SF building. In December, Triten acquired another Atlanta-area IOS property at 140 Herring Road in Newnan, Georgia. The Triten deal team was led by Willie Ross.
ACQUISITION: Newmark brokers sale of 5.02 acre IOS in Philly. Newmark Industrial Capital Markets represented the seller, East Capital Partners, in the sale of 2250 Church Street in Philadelphia, PA to Stockbridge. The site features a 27,250 SF truck terminal. The Newmark deal team included Ryan Guittare, Eustace Wolfington, and John Cook. The East Capital team included Drew DeWitt and David Archibald.
FUNDRAISING UPDATE: On April 19, we reported that Alterra had raised $900 million in its IOS Venture III LP fund. We now know that the fund has closed at $925 million, well above the original target of $750 million.
