ACQUISITION: Apricus buys its third IOS property. Dallas-based Apricus Realty Capital acquired a fully occupied four-acre crane rental storage and maintenance facility at 11600 CF Hawn Freeway in Dallas. The firm is focused on expanding with infill industrial and IOS properties in DFW and Houston. The Apricus deal team included Matt Haley, Garrett Marler, and Cort Martin. Congrats!
IOS DEVELOPMENT: Simi Capital Group partners to deliver truck yard. ContainerPort Group is the new occupant of a truck yard in Fairburn, GA delivered in a partnership with Simi Capital Group. “The move was a no-brainer. With easy access to Interstate 85, the new terminal allows us to efficiently serve the local Atlanta rail ramps and strengthen our connections to the Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah.” -Kevin Hayes, ContainerPort Group
ACQUISITION: Dayton Street acquires 6-building logistics park. DSP acquired a logistics park in the O’Hare Industrial submarket in DuPage County, IL. The park is 85% leased and is comprised of a 37-door truck terminal, two truck maintenance facilities, and a warehouse spread across 11 acres. Jack Brennan with CBRE represented the seller. The DSP deal team included Howard Wedren, Michael Schack, Brandon Shanklin, and Adam Seyfarth.
LOAN CLOSING: Emerald Creek loans on IOS in NJ. NYC-based Emerald Creek Capital provided a $2.6 million acquisition loan on a 3.7 acre IOS property in Cinnaminson, NJ just outside of Philly. Jeff Seidler originated the loan for Emerald Creek Capital, and Justin Horowitz with Cooper-Horowitz arranged the financing.
EU ACQUISITION: Realterm breaks ground on Netherlands IOS. Realterm announced last week it has started construction on a recently-acquired 16,485 square meter IOS development site in Venlo, Netherlands. The site can accommodate up to 100 trucks. The Realterm deal team included Leonie Kierkels, Paul Underwood, Balazs Lados, and Robin van der Sluis.
