NEWS ROUNDUP
ACQUISITION: IOV buys 10 acre IOS in Chicago metro area. Industrial Outdoor Ventures (IOV) has acquired 24251-24311 Riverside Drive in Channahon, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. The property features (4) 15,000 SF grade-level equipment maintenance facilities and room for 128 trailer parking stalls. The IOV deal team included Eric Johnson, Anthony DeLaurentis, Tom Barbera, Nick Firth, Raymond Keeler, Benjamin Backer, Mike Rotolo, and Tina Torossian. Patrick Stanton with Patrick Commercial represented the seller. Josh Hearne, Andrew Bobak, and Reinier Pranger with Cawley Commercial are marketing the property for leasing.
ACQUISITION: Alterra buys 8.89 acre IOS in Panama City, FL for $6.951M. Alterra Property Group has acquired 5308 East Highway 98 in Panama City, Florida. The property features buildings totaling 24,226 SF and is currently leased to Builders FirstSource. The CBRE deal team of David McNevin, Ian Schroeder, and Melissa Ley Marshall represented both buyer and seller in the transaction.
ACQUISITION: Genesis buys 4.81 acre truck terminal in Mobile, AL for $2.27M. Genesis LLC has acquired 4689 Colgate Drive in Mobile, Alabama. The property features a 1,814 SF building and is currently leased to XPO Logistics. Alex Harrold and Kyle Matthews with Matthews brokered the sale. The Genesis deal team was led by Michael Hess.
ACQUISITION: Realterm buys 5.5 acre IOS in Boston metro area. Realterm has acquired 378 Worcester Street in Norton, Massachusetts, a Boston suburb. The property features a 21,049 SF maintenance facility and is currently leased to DATTCO. Newmark’s Brian Pinch represented Realterm in the transaction. The Realterm deal team included Ed Brickley and Nick Dupuis.
UPDATE: In the September 23rd issue, we wrote about Alterra’s acquisition of 4511 North 56th Street in Tampa, Florida. Hector Delgado and Guillermo de Nicolas with Panther Capital Group represented Alterra in the transaction. We now know that the property sold for $3.145 million.
